I think Coca-Cola's example was more learning-oriented. Learning today has a strong emphasis on:
- Informality (as you pointed out)
- Social (peer to peer) where you can use social media for self learning and then sharing with others
- Mobility, which goes even further than what you mentioned. In fact, it includes also the other two factors above. it's very much about forming a community of learners and share knowledge. Don't they always say that to really learn something you have to teach it? Great article, really appreciated.

@Alex: Do you know of any company-sponsored training programs delivered either purely through social media or mobile devices?
